We are looking for a Change Partner to serve as the liaison between Change and the business users, working with business partners to champion the Change function, generate ideas, drive innovation and collaborate with internal customers.

What the role will deliver

  • Create, co-ordinate and manage innovation and idea ‘labs’

  • Be the point of contact for internal customers, championing Change at all levels

  • Communicate and advocate the Change journey, gaining buy-in from FSCS stakeholders

  • Identify, capture and qualify new ideas from the business

  • Work with the business to identify, measure and track the benefits of a change

  • Assess new or amended protocols with the regulatory authorities for any new ways of working or requirements to comply with the new directives.

  • Support the production of project artefacts such as business cases, ITT, project plans

  • Work with business to support the delivery of all new ideas

  • Convey qualified ideas to the Change function, working together to determine the progression of ideas into reality

  • Stand in for the Head of Change as required


What we are looking for

  • Excellent experience working as a Change Partner or similar, (e.g. Management Consulting role) developing ideas, delivering significant business, systems (working within the Software Development Lifecycle) or regulatory change.

  • Strong business analysis knowledge, covering people, process and technology requirements.

  • Demonstrable experience eliciting and articulating benefits from stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to conduct workshops and chair meetings with effective stakeholder management.

  • Experience in preparing reports detailing the results of analysis, highlighting options and recommendations, translating technical detail for business users where necessary.

  • Experience in Issue and Risk management.

  • Exceptional stakeholder manager to ensure that project awareness and support is maintained.

  • Organised and used to working under pressure to tight deadlines.

  • Team player, able to work with FSCS in-house staff, contractors, senior management and delivery partners. Proactive, high levels of initiative and the confidence to act and make decisions.

  • Must have an ability to challenge constructively and effectively, rising above the detail in order to produce new and/or re-designed processes that result in increased efficiency.

  • Ability to translate and communicate complex technical concepts into business speak (and vice versa)

  • An ability to collate, analyse and synthesise data in order to identify trends and commonality.

  • Strong relationship management skills to communicate across various stakeholders within the business and with delivery partners (both written and oral).

  • Highly desirable to have proven experience of Business Analysis activities.
